Antimicrobial In Poultry

Antimicrobial in poultry is any substances that are killed or inhibit the growth of any micro-organism in poultry. The Antimicrobials agents commonly are used in poultry are bacteria, viruses, fungi, protozoa, mycoplasma, rickettsia, and Chlamydia.

Types of Antimicrobial Agents

It’s commonly grouped according to micro-organism where they exert their action primarily. There are six types of Antimicrobial agents found around the world.

Antibiotics are Antimicrobial Agents that kill or inhabited the growth of the bacteria during the infection process going on. it is the most usable Antimicrobial substance which has been using since it discovered worldwide.
